Lionel 717 Vintage O Prewar New York Central Caboose (2 Rail)

This is a Lionel 717 Caboose. This is the scale caboose designed for use with the famous 700E Hudson. This caboose features die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles. It operates on Lionel T-Rail 3-Rail track and has an interior light.

This item has been graded per TCA standards (Restored/Repainted) R-3: Good based on visual appearance. This item has been switched over to 2 rail by the previous owner. This item has been painted by the previous owner. Not all the unit has been painted, it's in certain spots. There has been extra trim pieces added to this item. The wheels show heavy run-time. Some of the trim pieces that go with this unit have been removed and missing from this item. There are rust markings on this item. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the body as well as the underframe. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. Overall condition is Restored - Good.
