Lionel 6560 Vintage O Lionel Lines Crane Car - Blank Frame Version VG

This is a Lionel 6560 Lionel Lines Bucyrus Erie Operating Crane Car from 1955-69. This is the uncommon version with no lettering on the black frame. The 6560 Bucyrus Erie operating crane car enjoyed the longest run of any postwar Lionel crane car. At first glance the 6560 appears to be a carryover of the 6460. Externally this looks to be correct, internally it is very different. The 6560 was redesigned to incorporate many cost savings features. This crane car features plastic trucks, a rotating cab that swivels 360 degrees, a hook and boom that can be raised and lowered, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item has some corrosion on the crank. There is rust throughout but heavy rust on the wheels and axels. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. There are scratches, scuffs, rust, paint loss and marks throughout the item. The wheels show average run-time.
