Lionel 614 Vintage O Alaska Railroad EMD NW-2 Diesel Switcher VG

Here is a Lionel 614 Vintage O Alaska Railroad EMD NW-2 Diesel Switcher. The 614 Alaska EMD NW2 Yard Switcher was introduced by Lionel in 1959 and was sold for two years (through 1960). This Locomotive features Magnetraction, a light, two non-operating couplers and a 2-position reversing unit (There is no neutral, just forward and reverse), durable plastic shell, die-cast metal trucks, metal wheels & axles. It measures approximately 12“ long.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. Both couplers appear to be modern replacements. The left side window strut is cracked. The shell is slightly loose form the chassis. This locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This locomotive shows rust on the chassis and trucks. The instruction manual is not included.
