This is a Lionel 600 MKT NW-2 Powered Diesel Locomotive from 1955. This is the version with yellow handrails and a gray frame. Features include a motor, a reverse unit, a decorative bell, a decorative horn, die-cast metal trucks, operating knuckle couplers and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good. There's a crack visible around the front shell screw. This locomotive shows scratches and paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This locomotive shows rust on the chassis and trucks.
