The first railroad to pioneer the use of the Genset switcher, Union rolled out this environmentally-friendly motive power locomotive in 2007. Features include three independently operating engines, simulate Sleep-Technology that shuts down idling engine sounds after a set period of inactivity, realistic lighting, detailed cab interior with engineer and fireman figures, opening vents, opening and closing exhaust stack covers synchronized with the smoke exhaust output, lighted cab interior, oscillating front ditch lights, a die-cast metal body, trucks, pilot and fuel tank, metal frame, LEGACY RailSounds sound system, multi-leveled engine sounds depending on how many simulated engines are in use, TruRail dialogue, LEGACY Control System, Odyssey II speed control, a high-torque motor with a momentum flywheel, front and rear ElectroCouplers, traction tires and metal wheels and gears. Road number 2701. It measures approximately 16" long and runs on a minimum curve of O-42.
