Lionel 6-14295 #990 LEGACY Control System Command Set EX/Box

Here is a Lionel 6-14295 #990 LEGACY Control System Command Set.
This set features a #991 LEGACY CAB-2 Remote Controller and a #992 LEGACY Command Base/Charger, the two components you need to get started. Only one LEGACY Command Base/Charger is required per layout. Like traditional TMCC, the LEGACY Command Base/Charger receives information from the Remote Controller and sends it out to the track via a simple one-wire connection. But that’s not all. The LEGACY Command Base/Charger remembers information about your layout, enabling the CAB-2 Remote Controller to display road names and numbers on the LCD screen. The power adapter for the base is not included.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. The remote functions poorly and will need to have the batteries removed and inserted to turn on. The remote is boing sold As-Is. The remote's battery compartment shows corrosion. The base and remote show scratches ands cuffs. This item has been inspected by our repair shop. Please see the attached picture for inspection details and additional operation information. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included.
