This is a Lionel 6-12948 O Gauge 313 Bascule Bridge. When activated the bridge moves up and when the button is pressed again the bridge moves back down. It can be wired to automatically stop an approaching train. It measures about 2 feet long. Other features include tin-plate construction and illumination.
