Lionel 6-12915 164 Operating Log Loader EX/Box

Here is a Lionel 12915 164 Operating Log Loader. This is the modern version of the 164 made from 1940 through the 50s. This needs a track run in front and behind it to work properly. You bring your log dump car to the front of it and dump the logs in. Then you turn it on which lifts the logs up and over the top of it and into the holding tray on the back side. Then by spotting a car on the back side and pressing the unload button will dump the logs into your waiting car. This modern version is much more quiet than the postwar version. This does not include the original controller.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-7: Excellent based on visual appearance. There are a couple light scratches along this item. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. The instruction manual is not included. The original box is included. The box has some edge wear, light creases and small tears. Please see our photos for a more detailed look. Overall condition is Excellent.
