Lionel 3619 Vintage O Operating Helicopter Reconnaissance Car - Dark Yellow VG

This is a Lionel 3619 Vintage O Operating Helicopter Reconnaissance Car - Dark Yellow from 1962-64. This car features a launching mechanism inside the car. Here is how this car works - you wind up the launch mechanism, then place the helicopter on it, push the launcher mechanism down in the car and close the roof halves. Then you can remotely launch the helicopter when placed over a remote control track. The roof opens, and the mechanism slowly rises from inside the car, and then when the correct height is reached, the helicopter launches.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item is broken. The piece that launches the helicopter out of the roof is broken and missing some parts. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the body as well as the underframe.
