Lionel 3472 O Vintage Operating Milk Car VG

This is the classic Lionel 3472 Operating Milk Car 1949-53. This is the later version with plastic doors. When activated by a UCS or 6019 track section, the milkman figure pops out and drops a milk can on a platform. The car holds 7 milk cans and with 7 pushes of the unload button you unload those cans. This milk car features opening doors, die-cast metal trucks, die-cast metal operating knuckle couplers, metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. The original box is not included. The wheels show average run-time. The instruction manual is not included. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. This item has been out on display previously and its overall appearance could be significantly improved with a thorough dusting or a light wipe down. I have put the metal milk jug and the missing door (replacement part #3472-46) in a zip-lock bag. Only one milk jug is included. Please check the photos for a detailed look at this item.
