Lionel 3470 Vintage O Operating Balloon Target Launcher Car VG

This is a vintage Lionel 3470 Operating Balloon Target Launcher. This is a very ingenious and unique Lionel 3470 Operating Balloon Target Launcher Car from 1962-64. The car is equipped with a blower motor that runs on two D Cell batteries. When you put the batteries in and turn it on, it blows a stream of air up that will actually levitate your target balloon a few inches above it in the air. This car is great for target practice with your arsenal of missile launching cars! This launcher car features plastic trucks, operating knuckle couplers, and metal wheels and axles.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. This item is missing batteries. The balloons are not included with this unit. The overall appearance of this item may be improved with a gentle and thorough cleaning. This item has rust markings on the wheels. There are light nicks and scratches on the surface of the body as well as the underframe. The original box is not included. The instruction manual is not included. Overall condition is Very Good.
