Here is a Lionel 226E Vintage O Prewar 2-6-4 Steam Locomotive w/ 2226W Tender from 1938-42. The 226E was one of Lionel's top of the line engines in the late Prewar era and many of the tools used to make the 226 were used as the starting point for the Postwar Era 726/736 Berkshires. This powered steam locomotive features a powerful motor, reverse unit, lights, full die-cast construction, and metal wheels.

This item has been graded per TCA standards C-6: Very Good based on visual appearance. Some thick spots of dirt and dust have settled onto the locomotive's shell. The tender is missing several grab-iron pieces. The tender has a heavily rusted draw-bar. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis.
