Here is a Lionel 2025 Vintage O 2-6-2 Die-Cast Steam Locomotive. The locomotive features a motor, metal side rods, a decorative bell, and metal wheels and axles. A Lionel lines tender has been included by the previous owner.
Brought onto the scene in the late 19th century and continuing use into the early 20th century, the 2-6-2 was a durable little model with some even surviving through the first World War seeing continued use in smaller capacities. These models were used for a variety of purposes from hauling coal loads to pulling smaller passenger cars. The North American model soon became known as the "Prairie" model and would quickly become a favorite in rail-yards around the world!
