Here is a Spectrum 82307 HO Scale Undecorated Baldwin 4-6-0 Steam Locomotive and Tender. This locomotive features die cast construction with plastic trim, motor, operating headlamp, metal side rods, operating pilot knuckle coupler, metal wheels and axles. The tender features plastic construction, plastic trucks, operating knuckle coupler, simulated coal load, metal wheels and axles.
Introduced in the 19th century and further used during the 20th century, the 4-6-0 was a popular model thanks to its reliability and impressive stability when hitting speeds near 100mph. The 4-6-4 also referred to as a "10-wheeler" would eventually find its way in rail-yards around the world from the US to Finland, and even running the Cape Gauge in South Africa!
This item has been graded per TCA standards C-5: Good based on visual appearance. The tender's shell is incorrect for the chassis and does not fit properly. The locomotive and tender have broken and missing trim pieces. The tender shows thick spots of sticky residue on the shell. The locomotive and tender show scratches and spots of paint loss throughout various sections of the shell and chassis. This item has been inspected by our repair shop.
